Counselling Cell


The office of the counselingcell provides confidential, non-judgmental support and guidance to students struggling with various challenges, including academic, social, and personal issues. The cell offers individual or group counseling, aim to enhance self-esteem, address stress and anxiety, and facilitate positive behavioural changes. It may also provide career guidance, help students identify their strengths& weakness, and connect them with resources like clinical psychologists or psychiatrists, if needed.

Dr. PDNI has a two full time Counselor to provide guidance and to help students in their personal problems. The mentors of our institute guide mentees in their personal and academic matters, and mentor directs the mentee to the college counsellor for guidance.

  • Referrals: The counselling cell connects ournursing students with external resources like mental health professionals or career counselors.
  • Crisis intervention: The counselling cellprovides support and assistance to nursing students when they are in crisis situations.
