e-Governance


The institute has installed e-governance software, that uses Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to enhance the delivery of various aspects of college administration and operations. This includes automation process, improving transparency, accountability, and increasing efficiency. The purpose of e-governance is to empower stakeholders like faculty, students, and parents by providing easy access to information and facilitating their participation in decision-making.

      Parents, staff, and nursing students are accessing online services conveniently.
    2. Improved communication:
      e-governance has enabled seamless communication between Dr. PDNI and stakeholders.
    3. Increased transparency and accountability:
      Online information about college readily available to the stakeholders, promoting transparency and accountability.
    4. Efficiency and cost reduction:
      e-governance streamlined the college administration and operations processes, and also reduced time, cost, and paperwork.
Areas of operation through e-governance
1. Academic planning and development:

The institute has learning management system (LMS) software module and web-site, and are usedto plan, deliver, and track training and educational programs. They have created a centralized platform for staff and students to manage their learning and development activities, making it easier to access academic information, and ensure compliance.

The LMS and college web-site provided easy access to information like academic notice / circular, time table, unit plan, clinical rotation plan, calendar of events, attendance, e-content, e-books, e-journals, etc.

2. Administration:

Various aspects of college administration and operations governed through ERP software, web-site, WhatsApp groups and email.

  • The cloud basis ERP software is used for leave management of employee, inward and outward, general profile of the employee, etc.
  • All significant administrative communication, including notices, is regularly posted on the website and WhatsApp groups.
  • Data collected from stakeholders through Google Docs and Google Forms.
  • WhatsApp groups are used for awareness and short alerts of events that take place in college campus.
3. Finance and accounts:

The financial aspects of operations are made through ERP software.

  • ERP and tally software are used to to maintain finance and accounts such as; cash book, ledger, receipts, payments, etc.
  • Student login facilities made available in the student portal for online payment through ERP software.
  • Online payment through QR code / scanner from the portal of Indian Bank
4. Student admission and support:

The institute has automated process through software module and college web-site for student admission and support.

  • The cloud basis software module used to admit students. As the software contain student data, the documents like TC, bonafide, conduct certificate, attempt certificate, attendance certificate can be issued quickly.
  • The college web-site used for information.On the website, there are interfaces for admission and online transactions.
  • There is various provision in the website and cloud basis software where the students can access and download the information about common application form, leave application form, admission form, code of conduct, receipt/payment details, grievance red-ressal form, vishaka form, anti-ragging, IAC application form, feedback forms, affidavits, committee reports/minutes, student welfare measures,career counselling form, placement cell form, capability enhancement scheme forms, etc.
5. Examination:

The students use college web-site for internal exam time table, university exam time table, results, exam related grievance, etc. The ERP software is used to collect exam fee and to generate internal examination application forms.
