Shri Shivaji Education Society, Amravati is a premier educational institution of Central India with branches in all the districts of Vidarbha in Maharashtra. It is registered Public Charitable Trust (R.No. F/89). Society was founded by a great visionary Late Dr. Panjabrao alias Bhausaheb Deshmukh the First Agriculture Minister of India and inspiring force behind green revolution in Maharashtra in 1931-32, along with other Members. Dr. Bhausaheb devoted himself to educate the people by establishing numerous schools, colleges, hostels and other teaching and technical institutions. The educational institutions cover areas like Agriculture, Medicine, Law, Arts, Commerce, Science, Biotechnology, Information technology, Physical education, Engineering, Horticulture, Microbiology, including nursing education.

With a widely spanning area, Dr. PDNI located in the heart of Amravati city offering nursing education viz., Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM), General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), B. Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing and M. Sc. Nursing courses. It spread more than 40000 sq. ft. built up area with spacious and well-ventilated class rooms, library, labs, office etc. Natural place in the campus provides a calm and serene atmosphere which is very pleasant, healthy and stimulating in every sense.
